This Privacy Policy explains what information the Chami app (“Chami,” “we,” “us”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have any questions, contact us at chami@chami-vulnami.com.

Information we collect

• Account information. When you create an account or sign in with Apple, Google, or email, we receive an account identifier and, depending on the method, your email address and name. You may also set a username, a short intro, and a profile avatar.
• Learning and gameplay data. Your lesson and quiz progress, answers and results, rank/ELO, streaks, in-app balances (Chami Coins and gems), and paper-trading activity, so your progress is saved and synced across sessions.
• Purchase information. Records of your in-app purchases and subscription status. Payments are processed by Apple; we do not receive or store your payment card details. We use RevenueCat to manage entitlements and validate purchases.
• Support messages. If you email us or send feedback, we receive the content of your message and your contact details.
• Device and usage data. Basic technical information needed to operate, secure, and improve the app.

How we use your information

• Provide, sync, and personalize your learning experience.
• Process purchases and grant the correct entitlements.
• Maintain, secure, and improve the app, and prevent fraud or abuse.
• Respond to your support requests and communicate about the service.
• Comply with legal obligations.

AI-powered features

Some features use artificial intelligence (provided by Anthropic) to generate and curate learning content, such as building a personalized curriculum from your progress. The information sent to power these features is limited to what is needed to provide them (for example, which lessons you have completed) and is not used to train third-party AI models.

Service providers

We share information only with providers that help us run Chami, under agreements that limit their use of it:

• Supabase — authentication, database, and backend hosting.
• Apple — Sign in with Apple and in-app purchase processing.
• Google — Google Sign-In (if you choose it).
• RevenueCat — subscription and purchase management.
• Anthropic — AI content generation for learning features.

We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your information while your account is active. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing chami@chami-vulnami.com. We will delete your data unless we are required to retain it for legal reasons.

Children

Chami is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International users

Your information may be processed and stored in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
